Who is Jaimee?
I love being a private midwife because I love offering relationship-based, woman-centred care. For the past 6 years I’ve worked as a privately practicing midwife out of the Launceston Birth Centre, supporting families through pregnancy, birth and their early postpartum.
My journey into midwifery began after birthing my fourth baby at home. This birth experience changed the way I saw myself and showed me what birth could be. It inspired me to help other women, and later, to help other midwives, build careers that are sustainable, rewarding and aligned with their values.
I created The Midwives’ Midwife to give midwives the support I once needed. My role is now to mentor, guide, and walk beside midwives who want to build careers that are both sustainable and align with their own values.
Over the years, I’ve mentored midwives around Australia, spoken at national midwifery conferences, been interviewed on podcasts. and have written and taught workshops and seminars for midwives. My experience as a private midwife, educator and certified relationship coach has given me a unique ability to understand and support midwives with the clinical, business and human sides of midwifery.
As a wife and mother of four, I know first hand how midwifery impacts home, health and relationships.
If you’re looking for clarity, confidence and a sustainable path forward, I can help you.
I offer real-time, on-call support so you can ask questions as they arise and make confident decisions that move you towards your goals.
Mentorship removes the overwhelm.
I’m here to be with you as you are ‘with woman’.
